“The new Aldi will offer a wide range of quality products at the low prices that customers have come to expect and appreciate,” he said.

“Our focus is on creating the most convenient options for our customers, so we’re very happy to further expand our already diverse retail offering into a true ‘one stop shop’ experience.”

Located in the centre between Kmart and Woolworths, the new Aldi occupies more than 1900 square metres.

To celebrate the opening, Stockland Baldivis will be hosting a German Circus Show, complete with theatrical magic tricks and silly clown antics.

There will also be a German-inspired gingerbread heart decorating class that will encourage children to customise their cookie creations with buttercream frosting and sprinkles.

Both events will run at various times on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Bookings are required at Stockland.
