The charity handed over the keys to the $65,000 bus modified to allow wheelchair access on Wednesday.

Centre manager Jackie Abbott said the bus would save the centre money and allow it to help more people use its facilities.

‘We cater for newborns through to seniors, with our eldest member about 90,’ she said. ‘The bus will help us pick up people who want to play bingo, who otherwise might not be able to attend.
