ROCKINGHAM Police and Community Youth Centre (PCYC) is spreading the Christmas cheer with a fete on Sunday, December 20.

With activities such as face painting and a petting zoo for youngsters as well as devonshire teas and handcrafted wooden furniture for those a little bit older, the fete offers something for everyone.

In an exciting twist, PCYC will be locking up members of the community who have to raise donation money for their “bail”.

Time4Kids, is an initiative that is aiming to help stop youth crime.

The funds raised will go directly to the PCYC and will be used to deliver early intervention programs that engage at-risk youth as well as help provide equipment for programs and activities.

Beginning at 9.30am on Emma Street in Rockingham, the event will run until 1pm with a sausage sizzle, sweet store and the chance to win prizes.

Anyone wishing to participate in Time4Kids can contact PCYC Rockingham on 9592 1232.
