It is the biggest annual event on Kwinana’s calendar, with thousands of revellers to join in the colourful mix of entertainment and attractions from 10am, which will conclude with the massive CSBP Sky Show at 8.45pm.

Among the activities will be free children’s rides, Youth Freakfest, live entertainment, market stalls, food and showbags.

Festival co-ordinator Christine Scambler encouraged all families to get along.

‘I’m expecting great weather, lots of families having fun for free and bonding together, and local organisations raising lots of money for their clubs,’ she said.

‘Everyone should come along to see all of the amazing talent that Kwinana has to offer and to witness great artists perform at the night concert, concluding with some amazing fireworks.’

The BHP Billiton Healthy Stadium will invite visitors to have free health and fitness checks.

For the young, special guests Mr and Mrs Potato Head will judge a colouring-in competition, with a Grit Scooter and gift pack going to the winner at 5.30pm.
