Armed high-vis man holds up Rockingham bank

A KNIFE-wielding man who wore a high-vis shirt during an attempted armed bank robbery is still on the loose.

Around 11:15am on October 26, a man wearing a high-vis shirt entered a bank on Chalgrove Avenue in Rockingham, gave a note to the teller and took out a knife.

The teller alerted her colleague, who also read the note and then activated an alarm.

The man ran into the locked doors twice while trying to leave, before running off along Central Avenue.

He was seen carrying a large canvas bag and wearing a ‘bum bag’.
