Arson Squad police keen to speak to three teenagers over East Rockingham scrub fire

ARSON Squad detectives are keen to speak with three teenagers in relation to a scrub fire in East Rockingham that occurred on Wednesday, December 13.

Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire in bushland near Patterson and Office Roads at 2.50pm.

The three youths they want to speak with were part of a group of five seen walking away from the area along Wellard Road, twoard Kwinana.

They are described as 14 to 20-years-old, with fair skin.

One was wearing a motorcycle helmet and had his face covered with a bandana.

Anyone in the area between 2pm and 4pm who may have seen any suspicious people, vehicles or activity – or has any information regarding the fire – is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the conviction of an arsonist.
