WHEN Baldivis resident Luke Toki competed on Australian Survivor in October, he formed a special bond with fellow-contestant Jericho Malabonga.

“He is a very giving person – very selfless,” Luke said.

“I do not like accepting gifts and feel like I have to pay him back.

“I’ve told him a thousand times – are you sure?

“But in the end I know my kids will love it.”

“He did not want to take anything away from our holiday,” Luke said.

However, Luke and his family wanted Jericho to share in the fun and excitement.
