Baldivis artist’s work on show at Art of Wellbeing Exhibition

BALDIVIS resident Lisa Carter has a painting on display in the Art of Wellbeing Exhibition.

The exhibition has provided members of the WA Aboriginal community with an opportunity to share their culture through their art, by submitting their interpretation of wellbeing in their chosen artistic form.

Ms Carter was one of 20 finalists in a competition whose artworks were selected to be on display.

“My inspiration behind this painting comes from my sons, who are healthy, vibrant, caring, strong willed young men/boys and they brighten my life up every way possible,” she said.

“The circles reflect myself and my son’s interconnectedness and the many colourful dots surrounding are the hundreds and thousands of different qualities the boys have to offer to me that come to create my wellbeing in life.”
