BALDIVIS resident and carer Arran Slater was recognised after celebrating 10 years of working for Braemar Presbyterian Care.
Mr Slater said the past decade had flown by and, as well as meeting lots of people, his longevity with the Willagee aged care residence had helped him to make a difference to the lives of many seniors.

“I love the residents at the home where I work and I really enjoy being part of their lives,” he said.
“I feel I have the ability to relate to older people, probably because I grew up around them as a young boy, and being part of their lives every day is a real joy; I can honestly say I love my job.
“Many of the residents consider the team at Braemaras part of their extended family, we all get along together and really enjoy what we do.”
Braemar Presbyterian Care chief executive Glenn Muskett said Mr Slater’s dedication to residents and their families over the past 10 years has been exceptional.
