Baldivis fire causes half a million dollars in damage

POLICE are investigating the circumstances around a house fire in Baldivis last night.

Nine Department of Fire and Emergency Services vehicles, as well as police and St John Ambulance were called to the Colreavy Ramble home about 6.30pm.

The fire had engulfed the home and the damage was estimated at $500,000.

The fire was under control by 7pm.

Police are speaking to a 38-year-old man in relation to the fire. It is believed it was his own home.
