Baldivis man (42) charged after crash in Port Kennedy

MAJOR Crash officers have charged a 42-year-old Baldivis man after investigations into a serious crash in Port Kennedy yesterday .

It will be alleged about 8.25pm, a silver Kia Rondo station sedan collided with a white Husqvarna 511 Enduro motorcycle on Port Kennedy Drive near Blackburn Drive.

The driver of the Husqvarna, a 22-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance for emergency medical treatment.

The driver of the Kia, a 42-year-old man was not injured in the crash.

The 42-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on July 22.
