Describing his original music as influenced by pop and folk, with elements of rock and country, Jake impressed the Nannup Festival judges with his unique style.

He has been playing the guitar and writing songs since he was seven years old and studied music at John Curtin College of the Arts.

He has played with the Perth Symphony Orchestra and does covers at pubs around Rockingham.

Jake’s hopes for the future are just to explore his music.

“As long as I’m doing that, I’ll be happy,” he said. “I’ll just see where my music takes me.”
