Baldivis teen Rhian Ryan to now be sentenced in February on child rape charge

RHIAN Lee Ryan will spend Christmas behind bars after his sentencing hearing was put off until February next year.

The Baldivis teen was due to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to threat with intent to compel the doing of an act and sexually penetrating a child over 13 and under 16.

An application to vacate the hearing was successful late yesterday with the 19-year-old being placed back on the sentence mention list to re-appear at the District Court on February 2.
