Beach gets good clean

The move was in preparation for Clean Up Australia Day.

Site supervisor Brand MHR Gary Gray said rubbish collected included blocks of concrete, plastic bags, a fishing rod and metal railing.

Mr Gray said Clean Up Australia Day was a chance to get together as a community to clean up the coastline, reserves, playgrounds and keep the environment healthy, clean and safe for everyone.
