Bear Brew created by fathers to help kids with cancer

A COLLABORATION to raise money for children with cancer has been formed at a Baldivis brewery.

The casual and relaxed atmosphere got the creative juices flowing between brewers and fathers from the Kids Cancer Support group to create Bear Beer at White Lakes Brewing in Baldivis.

Named after the feeling that sometimes there is more to bear in life than we could ever imagine, it will be available from White Lakes along with other supporting venues.

White Lakes head brewer Sean Symons said he and his team were always on the lookout for opportunities to give back to the community.

“We were made aware of the incredible work done by the Kids Cancer Support Group and we wanted to lend a hand,” he said.

“We are honoured to collaborate with these devoted dads and proud to support such an important cause.”

The brew will be tapped in September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Money raised will go to the small local charity that provides support for families affected by a childhood cancer.

White Lakes Brewing was founded in 2013 and is an independent and family owned enterprise.

The Brewhouse overlooks Lake Walyungup.
