ROCKINGHAM 16-year-old Olivia Morris is overcoming recent knee surgery to appear in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Regal Theatre.

Olivia, who had a knee reconstruction in July, is thankful that her ensemble role in the huge production does not require heavy dancing.

The young actress, whose previous shows include High School Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Little Mermaid and Hairspray, said the best thing about the show is it is inclusive.

The production includes students from performing arts schools across WA, tertiary students, graduates and professional performers.

Olivia is studying an Advanced Diploma in Music Theatre and is relishing the challenge of expanding her skills in a big musical production.

Beauty and the Beast is presented by APAN Entertainment.
