She will compete in the competition next month as a wildcard.
Miss Bennett said she had been proud to represent the region at State level and was thrilled to learn she would compete in the Australian competition.
“I started doing a bit of modelling and a friend I met suggested these competitions,” she said.
“I thought why not, I’ll give it a go.”
Ms Bennett was previously a national finalist in Miss Global Australia.
When not competing, Ms Bennett works in the bakery department at Woolworths in Rockingham.
“I don’t aspire to be a model,” she said.
“It’s more about helping me with confidence and self-esteem.”
