The second term will be held on Friday mornings from 10am to 12pm and will start on April 28.

“These weekly sessions will provide an informative and social outlet for people wanting to explore their creativity,” Mrs Jeffreys said.

Participants will be shown a variety of different arts and craft techniques and hands-on projects, including mixed media, acrylic, watercolour and chalk pastel techniques, paper-crafts and weaving.

Mrs Jeffreys and Mrs Tupper are part of FoRAC Social Arts and Crafts group, which meet weekly at Rockingham Arts Centre to work on their own projects, share ideas and inspire each other.

“Getting out of the house and meeting with other like-minded artists has been a great way to make new friends and offer each other encouragement and support,” she said.
