BERTRAM local Michelle Jendranata (50) is the winner of Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year.

The competition involved a nationwide search to find Australia’s most stylish and confident spectacle wearer.

Michelle impressed the judges – actress Kim Cattrall, fashion designer Alex Perry and L’Oreal Stylist Brett Albury – who selected her for her stylish and confident specs appeal.

She won an all-expenses paid trip to New York with a friend, will meet Kim Cattrall and won a year’s supply of designer glasses from Specsavers.

“I’m so thrilled to be chosen as the winner of the Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition,” Michelle said.

“The prize is amazing.

“I am taking my friend Paula to New York with me and I can’t wait.

“Paula encouraged me to enter the competition and I wouldn’t have won without her support.”

Michelle said she was a fan of Kim Cattrall and was excited about meeting her.

“I love wearing glasses because I love choosing different styles and mixing up my look,” she said.

“They also help me see.

“I feel fabulous at 50.”
