KWINANA Big W customers helped raise $1m for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The steady flow of fundraising enabled the foundation to fund a range of initiatives at the hospital, including an Aboriginal liaison officer, Fellowship in Endocrinology, Scoliosis research and equipment for a simulation suite.

An additional $65,000 was raised to support the Foundation’s Big Splash WA campaign which focused on raising awareness for the child and adolescent mental health service at Perth Children’s Hospital.

Arron Bloodworth, from Big W Kwinana, thanked customers, suppliers and the Foundation champions within the store for pulling together and digging deep to reach the $1 million mark.
