BRAND MHR Madeleine King has promised $500,000 to complete new education facilities touted for the Baldivis Children’s Forest.
The Baldivis Children’s Forest has served the local community since 2000, with its primary focus ‘conservation through education’.
It hosts multi-award winning educational and conservation programs, walk trails, outdoor classroom, bathroom amenities, barbecue and picnic areas, amphitheatre and art collection.

READ NOWMs King said the facility was an asset to the local community.
“Our traditional owners, the Whadjuk people, have lived off this land for thousands of years, so it is pivotal for young people to learn and engage with this history,” she said.
“The Baldivis Children’s Forest facilitates these traditional teachings, as well as hands-on learning of geography, flora and fauna, and contemporary challenges such as climate change.”
