A BUNNINGS Warehouse will be opening in Baldivis next month.

Newly recruited team members are already out in the community sharing their skills.

On Tuesday staff created an outdoor space at Baldivis Volunteer Fire Station.

The area features an outdoor timber setting, garden beds and a barbecue area.

The space is for volunteer firefighters to relax in after fires.

Next week staff will visit Baldivis Primary School to help build garden beds, outdoor furniture and a barbecue area for pupils to use as part of their kitchen classes

They will also visit Tanby College, pulling out the existing garden, and then placing a new water tank system for the school to collect and use on their vegetable gardens.

Bunnings staff will also be mulching the area surrounding and placing stepping stones.
