Carving out holiday niche: Halloween in Baldivis

Vanessa SchmittWeekend Kwinana Courier

According to Coles, shoppers in Baldivis last year bought more Jack O’Lantern pumpkins than most other suburbs in the State, taking out the fourth top spot and carving up more than 516 kilograms of pumpkins.

This year, Halloween is set to take over Australia in record numbers and Coles expects to see more than 50 per cent growth in confectionery compared to last year. Coles also expects to see 15 per cent more pumpkins sold as people get into the spirit of carving and decorating.

Coles in Baldivis will celebrate the spooky holiday with in-store pumpkin carving demonstrations tomorrow at 10am.
