The expansion started in March and will increase retail space from 7000sqm to 29,500sqm including 95 speciality stores, Kmart, expanded Coles and 275-indoor and outdoor alfresco area.
The second stage is expected to be completed mid-2015.
Stockland’s commercial property development manager Prue Cunningham said the transformation would increase the variety for shoppers.
‘We’ve made great progress over the past six months and we sincerely appreciate the patience of retailers, customers and the local community as we work to transform the centre,’ she said.
