The money was transferred from the Asset Management Reserve for the renewal of traffic calming along Champion Drive and Trusty Way near the school.

City of Kwinana Deputy Mayor Peter Feasey, who is also chairman of the schools board, said the slow points along Champion Drive would be removed and a gazetted school crossing put in, along with a footpath on the other side of the road.

The school started with a couple of hundred students and now there are 840 students and there have been ongoing issues with parking and traffic, Mr Feasey said.
