KWINANA Adventure Park is the Park of the Year.
The relatively new park received the title at the Leisure Australia WA Awards of Excellence on Friday.
About 160 industry representatives from WA local governments, State government, universities, and commercial organisations attended the event, celebrating the best in the parks and leisure industry.
The City of Kwinana took home three of the major awards with Kwinana Adventure Park named Park of the Year, Playspace (over $500k) of the Year and Community Program of the Year.

The park hidden among the trees at Calista Oval is a state of the art regional play and recreation facility that caters for all ages and abilities.
The WA Award winners in each category will go on to represent WA in the national awards in October.
