CITY of Rockingham councillor Matt Whitfield is hopping mad about a spate of vandalism.
“$200,000 was the cost to put new irrigation and turf at an oval and a vehicle was driven recently over this,” he said.
“Three parks in the city were severely damaged over December and two public toilets were damaged, potentially costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

READ NOW“No one likes paying rates but malicious damage, vandalism, littering and graffiti ultimately costs us, the rate payers.”
Cr Whitfield urged residents to report any suspicious activity to police on 131 444.
“If you see something please report and let’s try and get those responsible to pay for their damage,” he said.
