Ten of the centre’s students were also honoured with awards on the day.

Graduate and multiple award winner Tyler Johnston still had study to do last week, as he was due to sit for his driver’s licence yesterday.

Fellow graduate Cher Jackson said she was most excited to finally get some sleep now that the stress of all that schoolwork was over.

Dux Award winner Jaleesa Walker, who won two other accolades, said she was planning on continuing her studies with a Certificate III in Business before going to university. She hopes to study to become a lawyer.

Rockingham Senior High School Education Support Centre principal Sally-Anne Pippin said she was proud of the achievements of all the students, including those who graduated.

‘It’s been a really good team effort, I’m so, so proud,’ she said.
