Bailey provided emergency services with detailed information about his mum, Gwen Holden, late one evening when he noticed she wasn’t herself.

He could not call his grandmother because the phone was locked, so dialled 000 instead and told operators his mum had been lying in bed in their Port Kennedy home the past three days with a kidney infection.

ROCKINGHAM COUNCILLOR VINDICATED

Bailey said his mum was not talking properly at the time. When paramedics arrived, they found her in an altered conscious state and confused.

She had developed septicaemia and Bailey’s quick actions helped her get life-saving help.
