The aim of the program is to reduce loneliness, which can have a negative influence on people’s health, wellbeing and quality of life.

Act to Connect workshops enable staff and volunteers to assist people to connect to places, events and pursuits which give their lives meaning and purpose.

Additional strategic alliances have now been formed with Wanneroo, Joondalup and East Fremantle councils for the program to reduce disengagement.

CommunityWest chief executive Michelle Jenkins said she was honoured to be able to work with organisations to help them support vulnerable people in the community.
