Cyclist injured in Kwinana crash

MAJOR Crash investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a serious crash in Kwinana on Wednesday, September 23.

Just before 6.30am a bicycle being ridden by a 56-year-old Rockingham man was travelling north on Rockingham Road. A Toyota Hilux, driven by a 32-year-old Shoalwater man, was also travelling north. They collided about 20m south of the railway bridge, near Thomas Road.

As a result of the crash, the rider of the bicycle received serious injuries and was taken to the Rockingham General Hospital for treatment.
