TREE branches came down on a house and a car after a storm hit Rockingham this morning.
Wind speeds of 128kmh was recorded at Garden Island and hail as big as 50c pieces fell for about five minutes.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said there were 23 low-priority callouts to Rockingham in the past 24 hours.
Gingers Lawn Garden Care Company owner Russell Hendy said he was doing quotes near the foreshore when the storm hit.
“My work ute was shaking the wind was so strong,” he said.
“A tree came down on a house in Walker Street and there was debris everywhere along Parkin Street and the Esplanade.”
