Dixon Road attempted robbery, police seek witnesses

DETECTIVES are seeking information regarding an attempted armed robbery at a Rockingham lunch bar in the early hours of Tuesday, April 12.

A man holding a crowbar and with his face covered, entered a lunch bar located on Dixon Road, just after 4am.

The man demanded money from a staff member.

When the man was told there was no money, he threatened the staff member before leaving the store.

He was described as being 16 to 19 years of age, about 174cms tall, with a slim build and an olive complexion.

He was wearing dark coloured pants and a black hoodie with the hood pulled up over his head.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen any suspicious activity.
