Fire engulfs Cooloongup home causing $250,000 damage, authorities treating as suspicious

A SUSPICIOUS fire in Cooloongup has caused about $250,000 in damage this morning.

Fire services were called to the Shell Close house to attend to a vehicle fire, which began in the carport before spreading throughout the home about 3.20am.

The fire is believed to be suspicious with arson squad detectives currently at the scene.
