Sharyn and Mac McCaskey and Alan and Davina Reid are preparing for the Camino de Santiago, a spiritual journey that pilgrims of all faiths and backgrounds have traversed for more than 1000 years.

The McCaskeys and Reids will traverse about 244km of the Camino route, which covers 800km through northern Spanish countryside.

While many take the route to seek penance and enlightenment, the Rockingham trekkers are taking the journey out of a sense of adventure.
