A SMALL business morning tea will be held on Friday.

The event will be hosted by Minister for Small Business Paul Papalia and WA’s Small Business Commissioner David Eaton.

Topics covered at the morning tea include commercial tenancies, marketing, finance and management.

Mr Papalia will speak about the government’s reforms to support small business and encourage employment.

Mr Eaton will provide information on the wide range of advice and other services available.

Baldivis MLA Reece Whitby has urged local small business operators to take advantage of the free advice.

“Many of our local small businesses are finding it tough at the moment and I want to make sure they have access to advice that could help their bottom line,” he said.

“Baldivis is an aspirational suburb and many families have started businesses.

“They play a key role in supporting our local economy by employing hundreds of local people.

“I grew up in a small business family and I understand the challenges of working long hours and paying everyone else before you even start to make a profit.”
