Free workshops for small businesses in Kwinana

FREE workshops are being offered to support small businesses in Kwinana.

The workshops will be run by the Small Business Development Corporation, which has recognised the City of Kwinana as small business friendly.

The corporation initiative celebrates local governments that demonstrate or are working towards best practice in engaging with the small business community.

The first workshop, Website Planning, will be facilitated by industry expert Ryan Mossney. It is ideal for business owners who do not yet have a website but need one.

The workshop will cover topics such as what websites suite particular needs, website development, hiring professionals, using a template, developing site maps, creating images and graphics, managing search engine optimisation and monitoring website performance.

There will also be an overview of domain names, web hosting, booking and shopping systems.

Participants will receive a Build a Website booklet to use as the foundation of their new website.
