A GOLDEN Bay man (40) has been charged after a dramatic stand-off with police yesterday .
Police were conducting inquiries at 8.20am and attended a home in Crystaluna Drive.
When police knocked on the door and attempted to speak to the occupant, it will be alleged he yelled abuse at the officers and prevented them from entering the premises.
It will be further alleged the man threw a bottle at police, which smashed near them and he continued to make various threats.

The man was taken into custody at 1.30pm. He was charged with aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm, assaulting a public officer, threats to injure, endanger or harm any person, criminal damage or destruction of property and endanger life, health or safety of a person.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today .
