Groups can register interest for City of Rockingham’s corporate volunteering program

Jaime ShurmerWeekend Kwinana Courier

COMMUNITY groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profits needing extra help can register interest in the City of Rockingham’s corporate volunteering program before February 8.

The city can organise a group of up to 25 staff to help out local projects and services.

The Salvation Army Rockingham was the first to benefit from the City’s Corporate Volunteering Program when city staff helped relocate an op-shop.

More recently, residents at Silver Chain’s Rockingham Respite Cottage were visited by city staff who helped make the cottage more dementia-friendly.
