Hillman Primary School basketball courts opened by ex-Wildcats Andrew Vlahov and Ricky Grace

Making an appearance were some of the students’ sporting heroes in Ricky Grace and Andrew Vlahov.

Both gave inspiring speeches motivating the students to achieve their dreams.

Upon hearing the school was in need of a new court, Brand MHR Gary Gray co-ordinated a funding effort between BGC and Mineral Resources to pay for the court at a cost of around $70,000.

“I was pleased to be a part of this project. The basketball courts are a great piece of local infrastructure which will serve Hillman Primary School for decades to come,” Mr Gray said.

“I am pleased to see this kind of partnership between the local community and WA industry.”
