Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating the death of a one-year-old boy.
Police attended following the boy’s death yesterday, September 30 at a residence in Golden Bay.
A 25-year-old Mandurah man was charged after he allegedly assaulted the child when he was six weeks old in 2017.
The infant was taken to Narrogin Regional Hospital on October 9, 2017, with injuries he had received.

The man, who is known to the child, was charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm and appeared before the Narrogin Magistrates Court on March 27, 2018.
Investigations into the child’s death are continuing.
