Kia ora: Rockingham Kiwi Festival a chance to enjoy our cuz’s culture

ENJOY hula dancing at the Kiwi Festival in Rockingham.

Cook Islands Community WA Incorporated members will share their culture with hula dancing.

The group is a non-profit organisation where members can learn Cook Islands dancing, singing, drumming and the Maori language. The categories are: Potiki (one to six years old), Juniors (7 to 12), Intermediate (13 to 17) and Seniors (all ages).

The mission of the group is to connect to culture, the environment and community.

Other features of the Kiwi Festival will be a Jimmy Hendrix Tribute, Gunthrie and other guests. Kids entertainment includes bouncy castle, face painting and the hangi.
