Kwinana backyard bandit revealed and the culprit is a crow

A KWINANA family were puzzled when things went missing from their backyard.

Nicola Louise said her mother’s tobacco packet mysteriously vanished off their outdoor table on two occasions.

“We set up a security camera to catch the thief,” she said.

Nicola was amused to find the culprit was a black crow.

She shared the video on social media with the message “if you recognise this gentleman, can you PM me?”

Crows are considered to be among the world’s most intelligent animals. They belong to the family Corvidae and have a reputation for collecting shiny objects.
