The 24-hour service will respond to queries regarding animal management, noise complaints, off-road vehicles, illegal dumping, fire hazards, parking issues and compliance concerns.
City Assist was formed as a result of public consultation with many residents voicing a desire for more ‘public facing’ services in the community.
City of Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams said City Assist’s 24/7 availability would prove valuable to residents who could access all the services by dialling one number.
“We’ve seen security patrols before but we’ve never seen this level of service being rolled out 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” she said.

“Residents will feel more secure knowing they can access the help they need any time of day by calling City Assist.”
