IT was an exciting time for a group of 32 male students recently as the Kwinana Industries Council launched its iMEN Project for 2017.

The students, who were selected from high schools in the Rockingham, Kwinana and Cockburn areas, will take part in a six-day program which aims to provide an insight into the many career opportunities available in the Kwinana Industrial Area.

KIC director Chris Oughton said the students selected would walk away from the program with an expanded knowledge of industry with career paths that may be suited to them.

KIC member companies including BP Refinery and Fremantle Ports have once again shown their commitment to this year’s program by hosting tours for the students.
