Kwinana: man charged with armed robbery of pizza store

A MAN has been charged with the armed robbery of a pizza store in Kwinana.

Regional Investigations Unit officers claim a 29-year-old man entered the pizza store, in a shopping centre, on Gilmore Avenue on March 23 last year. It is alleged he was armed with a firearm and threatened a staff member and demanded cash. He fled after being given a sum of cash.

The man, of no fixed address, has been charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court this morning.
