Kwinana: shotgun, drugs and taser found in car after police chase

Declan ByrneWeekend Kwinana Courier

A MAN allegedly armed with a sawn off shotgun and in possession of methylamphetamine led police on a chase through Perth’s southern suburbs last night before eventually being arrested by an off duty officer.

Just after midnight, police attempted to pull over a silver BMW on Gilmore Avenue, Kwinana, but it is alleged the driver managed to evade police.

Police claim the driver was seen travelling at speed on the Kwinana Freeway, southbound before a successful stinger deployment near Safety Bay Road.
