Kwinana woman wins $1 million in Lotto, eyes luxury caravan

The woman bought her winning ticket from McCaule’s Lottery Centre in Orelia and claimed her prize earlier this week.

“I screamed when I checked my ticket and my family thought I must have fallen over,” she said. “Then I started shaking and began crying.”

Initial spending plans for the Kwinana winner included a luxury caravan with all the trimmings.

“Not only can I get a home of my own, I’m going to be able to tick a few things off my bucket list like sky- diving, riding an elephant and parasailing,” she said.

The City of Kwinana recently received Lotterywest support with a $250,000 grant earlier this year.

These funds were used towards a skate park in Kwinana that will enhance facilities for young people and families at the outdoor youth space at Calista Oval.
