SARAH Blake is the guest speaker at the Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Lunch.

Ms Blake will discuss finding your niche – how doing less with more focus creates better business.

“Are you feeling pulled in lots of different directions?” Ms Blake asked.

“Are you trying to maximise your options by diversifying, just to stay competitive?

“Like most of you, being a business woman means wearing lots of hats.

“We are kind of used to the juggle.

“So, it seems natural to us to keep saying yes, to expand our services, offer more in our efforts to stay current, relevant and profitable.”

But Ms Blake said creating boundaries and saying no will actually give clarity and focus in business.

“Through a better understanding of that thing that is uniquely you – your niche, you can focus your time and energy with precision,” she said.

“This conversation is a challenge for us to embrace our uniqueness rather than fearing our competition.

“It’s about changing the way we think about what we do and how we do it, so that our precious time can be used with focus and still be leaders in your field.”
