Leda home sustains $200,000 in damage; man and boy hospitalised

A SERIOUS fire caused damage to a double storey home on Taylor Close in Leda this morning.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the home on Taylor Court after it was engulfed by fire.

Crews from Belmont, Cockburn, Peel, Perth, Fremantle, Hope Valley and Kwinana attended the fire.

They arrived at 10.52am and had the fire under control by 11.59am.

The damage bill was estimated to be $200,000.

A man in his 30s and his son were taken to hospital with minor injuries by St John Ambulance.

No cause has been attributed to the fire.
